2017 promises to be the biggest year yet for much loved roaming party people Regression Sessions. Alongside curating and hosting stages at festival institutions We Are FSTVL, The Secret Garden Party and RISE Festival, and heading out on a tour of all the UK’s best venues with DJs like Roger Sanchez and Raf Daddy, they are also launching a brand new and exciting record label.
The Regression Sessions label kicks off with a firing 3-track EP from Mad Villains. With releases on Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse among others, Californian Adriane Jackson aka Mad Villains has, over the years, seen support from the likes of Todd Terry, DJ Haus, Roger Sanchez, Shur-i-kan, Skream, Monki and Todd Edwards, as well as Rinse FM, Kiss FM and BBC Radio 1.
Also featuring Maxine Garman and a DJOKO remix, the record is made up of heavyweight, bass driven house that cannot fail to make a large impact on any dance floor. The first release, entitled Hit the Club, lands on February 27th.

Ahead of all that, though, will be a slew of electric parties around the UK. Each one will see venues transformed into otherworldly party spaces with wild themes, eclectic production and inviting atmospheres, that really encourage you to cut loose and forget the daily grind. This quarter the concept is Hippy Trippy Shakedown – kaleidoscopic colours and retro fashions abound.
Starting at Motion in Bristol on January 21st with Raf Daddy (The 2 Bears), the team roll on to Digital Newcastle, Fire & Lightbox in London with house legend S-Man aka Roger Sanchez, then The Irish Centre in Nottingham, Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh, Canal Mills in Leeds, Antwerp Mansion in Manchester, Concorde 2 in Brighton, once again Fire in London, Rainbow Venues in Birmingham, while Halo Bournemouth on March 31st wraps up the season.
