When ‘Secrets’ was released, it was this incredible moment in my career,” VASSY states. “It’s still one of the most requested songs at shows. This year seemed like the right time to go back and do it, particularly with Tigerlily, who’s been playing it in her sets for years. We retained the essence of the original but gave it a brand-new kick for the crowd today.

For Tigerlily, choosing ‘Secrets’ as the project to reimagine was an easy decision. “It’s one of those songs that just gets different in the club,” she says. “We wanted to pay respect to what made it so iconic but take it into 2025 with the type of energy people are looking for now – harder, faster, more intense.

The new ‘Secrets’ raises the tempo, raises the drops, and loads up on dynamic percussion with more aggressive sound design. The BPM is increased, the builds are increased, and the track has been optimized for the huge sound systems of the festivals like Ultra, Tomorrowland, and EDC. “Fans just kept saying to me that they wanted an even more energetic version,” adds VASSY. “So we gave it that punch of today without losing the feeling.”

Tigerlily makes a point that the remix too showcases the changing trends of electronic music. “The scene has migrated toward quicker tempos, particularly with the influence of TikTok and short-form content. People desire tracks that impact right away, so we cranked it up to fulfill that need without losing the magic.”
