Thank you for having me!\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Why Strano Left WKYC<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Strano\u2019s departure from WKYC was announced in September 2024, about nine months after she was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence in November 2023. She later pleaded guilty.<\/p>\n<p>Following her termination, Strano said she was saddened by the decision, claiming her exit highlighted the stigma surrounding addiction recovery. WKYC\u2019s parent company, Tegna, declined to comment beyond confirming her employment ended. She has since filed a lawsuit alleging wrongful termination tied to her public recovery journey and promotional activity.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Expanding Her Forecast Reach<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In addition to her new role in Stark County, Strano is also delivering forecasts for radio stations in Georgia and Alabama.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat an honor it is to be bringing you the forecast each day, from my hometown in Cleveland to your radios down South!\u201d she wrote on Facebook last month.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond radio, Strano continues to host her podcast, Abruptly Authentic with Hollie Strano, where she
